Why are we here? What we have to say, to ask? Nothing and everything. Nothing for each of us, everything for everyone. We are not here either as belonging to this or that party, this or that union, to this or that association. What we ask, we ask as citizens. Who is here only represents himself. For this reason, our meeting is a highly political, like all times, in extraordinary cases of democratic life, the differences are silent and memberships details and talk about the reasons that are common to naked people, interested in the fate not mine or yours, but common to all. We are not here, therefore, to support special interests. But we are not against parties. In fact, we turn to them, majority and opposition, in the collection of the malaise that rises more stronger from a country where a growing revulsion against those who governs and how, if people are to be reflected in who represents them and has strengthened the relationship between democracy first and second, a relationship that is now visibly loose.

Nothing we have to ask for us. We do not ask, nor places, nor money. We are not on the market. It is corrupt institutions the donation of seats in exchange for loyalty. E 'corruption of the people donating money in exchange for subjugation and services. We believe in the policy of free people, not enslaved, moved from their ideas and not by petty personal interests for which they sacrificed the dignity of the powerful to the cart distributes benefits and protection. In fact, we call for an end to this system of corruption and debasement of the conscience of democracy, a system that has invaded public life and has disqualified in the eyes of citizens, as the system of patronage. Citizens who are outside and want to stay out of rights and not asking favors, and complicity legality, safety and protection. They do not accept having to tie anyone to get what is due. They want, in a word, to be citizens, not customers, and have had enough of being bypassed, politics, business, professions, universities, in the hierarchy of public bureaucracies, at every level, from the manager at the issue, not who deserves more, but who enjoys more support and protection.

Ask yourself, in this context, because the nights of Arcore - I do not speak of crimes, because for now it is a chapter of assumptions yet to be verified - like a bomb went off in political debate, even in a country Puritan not like ours, where in terms of sexual morality has always been very tolerant, especially compared to the powerful. They say that morale has to stay out of politics, everyone at home should be able to do what he pleases (unless it violates the criminal code), that the rumor does not mingle with public affairs. True, but this is not the case. If you was just compulsive and irresistible force of sexual attraction in the age of the sunset of life, we would not have anything to say. Perhaps regret, but do not judge you do not have to then be possibly judged ourselves. Would feel if anything, probably, maybe even compassion and sympathy for this test senile, frail and ridiculous human condition of loneliness. But we would not have anything to say from the political point of view.

But the truth does not allow himself to paint in these terms. The question is not whether or not like the lifestyle of a rich and powerful person who spends his nights as we know. This might be a question that puts in moral categories. The question, quite simply, is: we like it or not to be ruled by one person. And this is a political question.

The answer depends on the observation that the walls of princely residences, as far as we know, is staged, a miniature stage, exactly what is happening on the big stage of national politics. Nights of Arcore became a symbol easily recognizable version of brothels, a broader reality that affects us all. It is a symbol that shows at a glance the character of a disgusting way of conceiving the relationships between people, the exchange between those who can and who can get. It's the same way that rules and in the rooms of a certain private villa and in some corridors of power. This, I think, is what worries the one hand, angered other.

But the mechanism is the same benefits and protection in exchange for proof of submission and fidelity, that is prostitution. And it is a pervasive mechanism that overcomes the distinction between public and private, because it works whenever you have something to offer that is pleasing to those who have the means to acquire it.

Here and there, this system feeds a world made up of contiguous looking for people who "we are" and can appeal to what has been brilliantly defined "End user" pimps and fixers, the ones to select and recruit bodies to beauty contests and places of ill repute and organize the flow, the other to probe the availability and fidelity to acquire in the places where the institutions can be helpful. Similarly, then, is the relationship that develops between the participants in these circles of power. Since the law equal for everyone would be incompatible with such a conception of power, relations of complicity, very often, almost always, are based on the illegality and, in turn, produce it. All so they fall into the hands of each other around and envelops you in the reciprocity of blackmail. So, whoever it is put in charge is put sooner or later, to become a succubus, turning into a blank form that speaks, like, maybe the face is fierce, but on behalf of others, his only interest to be decreasing gradually ruined by associates. At that point, it is ready for anything.

The "all for all" is the rule of law and equality before the law, respect for institutions and dignity of people, especially those most vulnerable to abuses of bullies: women, workers at risk of workplace the immigrants that we branded as "illegal" and the discipline and honor of those who hold government positions, increasing the range of policy by the mortgage money and private interest in the use of public powers, independence of the powers of security and control, social equity, liberation from the oppression of the clientele. A list of painful complaints and a vast reconstruction program that is precisely what is written very clearly and in full in the Constitution: the Constitution for that reason it became a sign of division between opposing conceptions of politics.

The demand for resignation of the Prime Minister is not rage against a person. We know that the concept of power is that he has, in our society, deep roots, even anthropological in nature, and therefore has good chance of survival in those who are preparing to collect the inheritance, for the moment when you feel ready to abandon it. But we also know that, for now, that system of power incarnate, and in an eminent way, just from him. Hence it is that he should start, not to stop him but to look ahead, the system of power that has given it and which he is, as long as possible, the most prominent interpreter.
