More and more poor families in Italy

Data Bank of Italy's latest report on the wealth of Italian families paint a very mixed picture of our country. Household wealth in fact is now stable around too long, as shown in the figure comes from a report.

And 'in fact since 2008, the year of the settlement of' Berlusconi's current government, and a year before the outbreak of the crisis, the household wealth of our country does not increase. But that's not all. The report points out that wealth distribution is characterized by a high degree of concentration: the poorest half of Italian families has in fact 10 per cent of total wealth, while the richest 10 percent holds nearly 45 percent of total wealth. And to make matters worse, the number of Italian families who have a negative wealth, with more than debt assets, is increasing. If the comparison with other foreign countries do not see us, as unfortunately happens in many other economic fields, in the bottom of the standings, the merit is due to careful management by the Italian families. Households On the other hand, have increasing difficulty in arriving at the end of the month and are not helped by government policies. Just think of the enormous difficulties involved, for example, when searching for a full-time state school, or even impossible to build a household with fixed-term contracts. Maybe it's time that the government actually invests in families without enough to think that preventing a gay couple to live together to solve the ills of Italy, but giving new dignity to one of the greatest resources of our social and economic fabric.
